The District was created for the purpose of providing streets, safety protection controls, park and recreation facilities, storm, flood and drainage facilities and transportation facilities for the property owners within the District.
The primary purposes of the District are:
1. To collect property taxes to be used to service the debt associated with the infrastructure built with the community.
2. To provide irrigation water to the Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Facility and ancillary streetscapes.
3. Median landscape maintenance for non city controlled medians.
4. Statutory compliance and annual filings.
The District is a member of the Colorado Special District Association, which exists to preserve and enhance the legal and political environment for the existence and successful operation of the special district form of government, and to assist special districts to operate efficiently and effectively.
