Q.

Is there a single source EBMD#2 document or booklet I can download and print?

A.

A booklet was written and mailed to all Eagle Bend residents, February/March 2016, in order to provide a single source of information regarding the formation, purpose and function of the EB Metropolitan District 2. The booklet includes particulars regarding CO state laws which govern Special Districts, such as how a District is formed and what services a District may provide. The District’s Service Plan must be approved by the City of Aurora. Financial information is also included and explained in depth.

The booklet includes photos and descriptions of the District’s various joint projects with other EB HOA’s. In addition, much attention was paid to the history of water and the current status of the District’s Water Enterprise Fund whose main purpose is to supply water to the HEB Master Association (HEBMA). HEBMA purchases the water for the sole purpose of watering the HEB 18-hole championship golf course and designated common areas. The HEBMA signs a yearly contract and dictates to the Metro District how much water they need on a monthly basis.

The GETTING TO KNOW YOUR METRO DISTRICT booklet is attached below for your convenience and reference. Should you have further questions, please contact your Board whose names and photos are included in the booklet.
